Yesterday I noted that the McCain and Obama campaigns are raffling off face time with their candidates to try and boost their first-quarter fund-raising numbers. You could go for an intimate dinner with Obama, or a day's ride with McCain on the Straight-Talk Express. Eagerly Awaiting the Bob Costas Panel on the Sports Media

We’re hearing that Bob Costas is working on a project that may be of interest to sportswriters and bloggers - Costas is gearing up for a ‘State of the Sports Media Union.’ Apparently, it will run on HBO in late April, and blogs will be prominently discussed. All of this supposedly sprung from the recent kerfuffle when Costas railed against bloggers to a Miami Herald reporter.
